The Envelopa campus, the Morava river area, or Bezručovy Sady – these are places we walk through every day, where we live, study, or go to relax. Yet, some corners could use a little care. Join Palacký University on Friday, March 27, and take part in the nationwide volunteer initiative Ukliďme Česko (Let’s Clean Up the Czech Republic). Lend a hand and help make Olomouc an even nicer place to live.
During the morning, together with the Sustainable University, we will clean up litter from parks, around university buildings, and along the Morava River – to make studying, working, and relaxing in Olomouc a bit more pleasant for everyone. Both students and staff are welcome to join. Just register, come to the meeting point, and join fellow university volunteers eager to do something positive for their surroundings. Besides the useful work, it’s also a chance to meet colleagues and classmates outside of the usual study or work environment and contribute together to a cleaner, more welcoming city.
When: Friday, March 27, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Meeting point: 8:30 a.m. at the UP Student Club in Zbrojnice (Biskupské náměstí 1)
Cleanup area: Bezručovy Sady and the 17. listopadu campus (around university buildings and the Morava riverbank)
Light refreshments, work gloves, and trash bags will be provided. We look forward to seeing UP students and employees join us!
